Helen Dickson (1884-1969)

Canadian author of which I know very little. She also wrote under the name of Dickson Reynolds. She wrote a few children's books, mainly outdoor adventure types and mysteries, of which two form a short series about a family living on a dude ranch. I think these were her only pony titles. They were first published in the UK and strangely do not seem to have been ever published in the author's native Canada.

Helen Dickson is not to be confused with the modern day romance writer of the same name!
